1. Remove the AC power.

Remove the battery.

2.Locate the hinge cover.

3.Insert a scribe into the hinge cover slot.

4.Pry up on the notch on the right side of the hinge cover.

5.Lift and remove the hinge cover from the chassis.

6.Reverse the previous steps to replace the hinge cover.
