Don't know if you can help or not. I have a Gateway V7915u and the top half (the screen half that raises up and down when you open and close the laptop) is pretty much destroyed (it took a heavy duty blow from a 3' steel sword (yes, I said "sword"). The computer still turns on and seems to be okay (as far as I can tell since there is no screen to see what it is doing, but it's not making any funny noises or anything) and a bright white light coming from where the screen used to be also turns on when the computer powers up. The whole top half is in pieces, the panels and bezel are bent and broken as well, but it is still connected at the hinges. Is there any hope to save this electronic victim of a failed anger management course?

We specialize in laptop screen and all our screens are OEM directly from laptop screen manufacturer. So it cost less in processing, less in resale interests and less human resource cost.

How come your prices are so low compared to others? I'm fixing a broken screen on Sony Vaio SR520G and Sony wanted $840 for the screen. Another company had it for $540. It's only $180 with you guys. Am I missing something or do you just have phenomenal prices?

I have a Dell Inspiron/6000. Model PP12L.
I got in the habit of picking it up by the screen. Bad habit!!
A 1/3 of the screen was not visible without "moving" the screen back and forth. Sort of "wiggling" it. I would be able to use my curser around to access other programs and turning the computer off.
Last night I lost the ability to even log onto the internet.
I pulled my electrical connection off. I discontinued the phone line connection. I discontinued my printer from my computer. I let it sit overnight, and of course the battery the battery went dead.
I'd like to attempt to replace the screen, but wonder if I should do the work or get the replacement and find someone who can do the work for me. I have so much information on this computer that I don't want to loose anything. Thank you for any help that can be passed on to me.
