Not as expensive as HP’s beloved EliteBook series, the ProBook is for everyday working folks. Available with both AMD and Intel platforms, the ProBook comes with three screen choices: 14, 15.6, and 17.3 inches, all 16:9 aspect ratio.

The ProBook series offers a built-in mobile broadband option, via Qualcomm’s Gobi technology. Also for the business user, HP includes all of its professional software, such as QuickLook 2, which grants access to e-mail, calendar, task, and contact information without booting into Windows;HP SpareKey, which helps you get access to your system when you’ve forgotten your password; and FileSanitizer for HP Protect Tools to completely delete files, among other applications.
