Some Toshiba laptop owners are troubled in battery charging problem: the laptop can not be turned on from the battery. When the laptop is turned off and plugged into the AC outlet, the battery charge LED doesn’t light up, but the laptop is fine when it is plugged. And “Battery Remaining: N/A” shows in the screen when mouse is moved over the Toshiba Power Icon in the lower right corner. How to deal with it?

It is very easy, just to update the BIOS. The BIOS version should be at least v1.30. Therefore, go to the Toshiba website and download. Attention: you should find your laptop model first, and then download for the BIOS. In the BIOS change history you will see the description of changes.
