The problem may be related to the audio drive, you can try to reisntall the audio driver and the operating system from the recovery disc or installation CD. In this step, your personal data on your laptop may be lost, so you had better have your data backed up.

There is another possible reason, your sound card is out working. In this case, you had to replace your laptop motherboard too as the same reason as the audio jack.
