Hi, very interested in using this as a ebook reader, just wondering about WinCE 6.0 capable reader, particularily PDF. You mentioned that SD storage can be expanded to 4GB. Is that the upper limit, I have several larger SD cards of 8 & 16 GB, are these compatible. At under $150 it’s got the current crop of ebook readers beat big time. If its reliable that is.
Thanks & Happy New Year.

The Mini netbook is compatible with PDF reader. 4GB is its largest storage and the price is not too high. If you have interest, please go to Yallstore.com.  (Quote)  (Reply)

I just bought one. I only need it for the on-line thing while driving truck. I like the smallness of it and the way it looks.  (Quote)  (Reply)

Hi, just bought my second one of these. I think they are great.

The pre-loaded software is OK for almost all your needs but I would suggest looking at the Softmaker for Win CE office type software for a really good MS Word and Excel look-alike rather than the very cut down Wordpad and Excel that it’s shipped with.

If you are really lucky, some come with Skype preloaded too which is useful if you travel abroad a lot to keep in touch with friends and family back home.

Enjoy!  (Quote)  (Reply)

I purchased one at CVS pharmacy for $99. I like it but I wish I could load Yahoo IM. I found out that it only connects to some networks. I have not found out why. I have a Version GT704-WG and it will not connect but it will connect to a ECB-3220. All and all I can not complain. It is easy to get e-mail and view documents. I just wish there was Yahoo IM. Hope this helps.  (Quote)  (Reply)

I have this computer. The battery never fully charges. It works on WiFi only at Staples! I cannot open my Yahoo email because it says I have a Certification problem. Anyone know about this? Can I print off of this thing? What do I do? I’m 64 and bought it because it’s lightweight. Thanks for any help you can offer.  (Quote)  (Reply)
