Before you take any actions, you may have to get your pen and paper ready for the further use of writing down the steps you disassemble the laptop, and keep all the screws well on a safe place and mark every screw.

Turn of Samsung Q70, remove the battery to avoid electric shock.

Flip the laptop Samsung Q70 upside down, as you can see, there are three areas can be extended: memory, HDD and wireless card. Remove the screws holding these three areas in place, and remove the covers. You will find that there is just one SO-DIMM slot, and where is another SO-DIMM slot?

As you can see, there are little words below the screw to indicate users what is it under the cover, for example, there is just one screw to hold the CD/DVD, unscrew it, you will take the CD/DVD out.

Now it is turn for you to remove the keyboard of Samsung Q70, there are four screws named as “KBD” which are holding the keyboard in place, remove it with screwdriver. Then remove the buckles under the “Win” and “Ctrl” keys. With these steps done, the keyboard is removed successfully. Now you will find another SO-DIMM slot of Samsung Q70 is under the keyboard.

On the back side of the keyboard, there are three rivets holding every key, Samsung is skillful enough to make such a thin keyboard with wonderful texture.

At the bottom side of Samsung Q70, there are a number of screws of different length, so you had better mark every screw and place them in appropriate place, otherwise, you will forget where the screws will go.

Now you have to remove the screen bezel of Samsung Q70, there are five screws and some buckles holding the screen bezel in place. Because the seams are too meticulous, so you have to do some work with your fingernail.

When you have removed the screen bezel, now you can remove the keyboard bezel. Insert the knife under the keyboard bezel and carefully lift it up. Continue releasing plastic latches and removing the keyboard bezel with your fingers. When you have removed the keyboard bezel, you can see the internal structure of Samsung Q70 clearly.
