Dell announced Latitude 13 which is similar to Dell Vostro V13, while Dell Latitude 13 is more concerned about system management as well as different services supporting. The Dell Latitude 13 is a business grade portable laptop with a preinstalled Citrix client, easier virtualization options, and an IT-friendly infrastructure for distributing system images for software updates.

Latitude 13 notebook weighs just 3.36 pounds and less than 1 inch thick, using aluminum alloy casing. Dell Latitude 13 is at the dimensions of 33 x 23 x 2 inches. Latitude 13 features a 13.3-inch LCD backlight screen with the resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

Dell Latitude 13 will be equipped with a 3.2 million pixel camera, two USB 3.0, a port hybrid eSATA / USB, SD card reader, ExpressCard as well as 64GB solid state hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 3G network, Bluetooth and WWAN wireless connectivity.

Dell Latitude 13 is equipped with Intel Celeron 743-1.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 at 1.4 GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 1.3 GHz supported by the memory type DDR3-1066 (4GB max in a slot). Latitude 13 also comes with operating system Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP or Linux Ubuntu.
Fashionable and ultra-thin Latitude 13 supports lots of business features such as remote management function, optional integrated webcam and microphone and excellent moving connectivity. Moreover, Latitude 13 gets Citrix and Vmware certification to support desktop virtualization.

Dell Latitude 13’s pricing will start at less than 1,000 dollars and be available in next few weeks.
