Dell Inspiron 14R N4010 Disassembly

We have a review on Dell Inspiron 14R, now we will dismantle Dell Inspiron 14R N4010 with the turns of keyboard, screen, and internal structure etc.

Dell Inspiron 14R N4010 Keyboard Disassembly

To begin with, remove all the visible screws on the bottom of the Dell Inspiron 14R, then we can remove the keyboard.

Two dead bolts are fixing the 14R N4010’s keyboard and the motherboard.

The metal dead bolt on the back side of Inspiron 14R keyboard which is with waterproof design.

There is no any additional screw on the keyboard and palmrest.

Inspiron 14R N4010 C panel is removed completed and the panel is with inbody design.

Metal plate is at the top of the drive, the role of the largest hole is to protect the optical drive motor.

Dell Inspiron 14R N4010 Screen Disassembly

It is easy to dismantle the 14R screen; you can take actions with the left side and right side axle plate fixed screen of the screen.

We can see screen line, wireless antennas, video cameras and other components on the screen whose bracket has been removed.

Dell 14R features a Samsung screen.

This is the camera; circuit board designs with a horizontal length which is a compact.

Here are the two 14R wireless antennas under the metal pieces, and the composite material will not have too much interference in the formation of the wireless signal.

The metal screen fixtures look very sturdy.

Removed the screen, we can see that Dell Inspiron 14R motherboard is divided into three parts.

Demolition of the remaining two motherboards is to remove the above motherboard firstly.

Below the panels, there is stiffening bar to enhance the overall solidity

On the up right side of the 14R bottom body, we can see a USB, one set of audio interfaces and wireless network card.

The bottom body surface, we see the details are quite delicate and the shielded network is used to shield electromagnetic radiation.

The details under the Dell Inspiron 14R driver, we can see the criss-cross stiffening bar to strengthen and enhance body strong degree

And near the drive, the stiffening bar is obvious too.

Details of the motherboard on the up right side, we can see the wireless network card and a high-Mini PCIE slot welding position

There is the hard drive under the opening on the motherboard, and the opening is also to protect the hard disk drive motor.

The detail about the left below side of the body, we can see the card reader, Bluetooth Module

14R’s cooling fan, the cable to the top is connected with small board and major motherboard.

Inspiron 14R cooling system design of a single copper brass radiator with larger diameter at the top of the middle of heat sink for processor and memory for graphics card, the left side cooling panel is to cool PCH chip.

We can see from the back of cooling system that heat sink also covers part of the power supply unit of the device which can achieve better heat dissipation.

Large diameter copper and heat sink covering a larger area are the basis of the excellent heat dissipation.

Copper is not only in relatively large diameter and but also in lager thickness.
