Lenovo IdeaPad Y560D LED back-lit screen works not just as single dustproof or diffuse reflection reduction. The mirror facet coating is a polarizing film, while the 3D glass is two layer polarizing films. But if the normal image is displayed in the screen, there is only color disperse or double image in the screen not the 3D views. We have to convert 2D images to 3D effect by TriDef 3D software.

The final result is 2 hour 37 minutes. For such a large independent graphics laptop, 2.5 hour battery life is fairly enough, but if IdeaPad Y560D runs in 3D mode, the battery life might be a bit shorter.

Though no QERRTY keyboard is a pity for gamers, but the mainstream ATI Mobility Radeon HD5730 independent graphic is really awesome which can support DirectX 11 better and provide smooth and real game images.
As to 3D imaging hardware, Lenovo IdeaPad Y560D adopts polarization technology with TriDef 3D software which converts 2D image to 3D to realize 3D visual effect. This method, however, is not effective to all the files, but the 3D effect is really gorgeous and costs much lower than NVIDIA 3D VISION。Current 3D version also exits shortcomings, so we suggest you not to run the laptop in 3D effect for too long, and take suitable rest.
