Most of Dell‘s laptops can be custom configured, Alienware M15x is no exception. The official recommended two configurations, the product code for the S510908CN and S510900CN, the former features I7-720QM processor, the latter uses I7-820QM. In addition, the screen resolution and hard disk capacity are also different.

Alienware M15x can not choose SLI program, so a single card performance is particularly important. Currently M15x uses GTX 260M graphics card, and the laptop we used this test is 240M, so there is different somewhat to the commercial laptops.

In order to restore the true performance of the whole, we will close the screen saver, hibernation, system restore, automatic updates and other functions, user authentication reduced to minimum, the system uses windows 7 Ultimate 64bit version.
